Thank you for your comment. We appreciate...Eric,

Thank you for your comment. We appreciate your kindness. During my Christmas break we worked out a new plan - which entails - a visit to his primary care physician who hopefully will prescribe a new anti-depressant (Ron has been on Prozac for years). Ron also has an appointment with a counselor next week. Again, thank you! I'm sorry for your loss - it must be ...Linda,

I'm sorry for your loss - it must be difficult for you. I'm sure as a caregiver you know how I feel. I pray you will find peace.

It's hard to separate the disease from the person sometimes. Thank you for your kind and encouraging words.

Ron isn't interested in therapy, and you're right about stealing the joy of life. He has much to live for - but nothing seems to make him happy.

Ron is currently on an anti-depression medication, but I think he needs a change of meds.

Linda, again, thank you.

Pam Ron's Liver Transplanthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17212446844124642080noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3473512886061414259.post-32912251494718514902012-12-10T11:26:27.556-05:002012-12-10T11:26:27.556-05:00My prayers are with you. You have been through so...My prayers are with you. You have been through some tough times the past few years. I know something about that. My husband had a liver transplant back in 2008, but then was diagnosed with cancer about a year and a half later. He died less than 2 years after that. Depression is something that can easily creep in to steal whatever joy you have remaining. Please do what you can to treat it. Either with medication or counseling or a combination of the two. I don't know where you stand, spiritually, but I know that our faith brought us through some really tough times....I pray you can know that same peace. God bless you both!

--Linda - Wichita, KSAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
